3i HoME is proud to highlight our partnership with accessiBe in 2021/22

Updated: Jul 26, 2022

We are happy to announce that 3iHome has been working with accessiBe's Nonprofit Partnership Program and team over the past year!

Web accessibility is a pressing issue and one that needs to be a top priority for all mission-focused organizations. In our current state, only 3% of websites meet basic accessibility guidelines, which limits or eliminates the possibility of internet use for 1 in every 4 people living with a disability. In order to address this growing gap, we must take action!

The Nonprofit Partnership Program is based on our shared belief that only with added education and awareness about people with disabilities and the community can we achieve a more inclusive society. Paul Linet and Mitch Sturgeon, Board members at 3iHome have already taken part in a Spotlight Sessions interview talking about the role of assistive technology as an accelerator for a more inclusive society as well as taking part in accessiBe’s GAAD Day video. We strongly advocate that with more education and grassroot community activities, each action will leave long lasting, societal change.

3i HoME is proud to be a part of a growing community of over 250 disability-focused organizations that have already partnered with accessiBe, such as Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, Viscardi Center, and New York State Industries for the Disabled.
